Spinfire have taken the best all-round ball machine and made it even better with their version two release. 

Tennis ball machines are an excellent way to practice and improve your game, regardless of skill level. The Spinfire Pro 2 makes it easy to practice a wide range of shots, test yourself with a variety of pace, spin and elevation, plus extend your mobility and fitness with ample practice drills.

This machine works for both tennis and padel.

A number of improvements have been made over the original machine. The Spinfire Pro 2 [v2] offers things you would normally only find on a much more expensive machine. It includes internal movement, an easy-to-use control panel, a multi-function remote control and fully programmable app with AI-Powered Drill Creator and a 150-ball capacity - all wrapped in a very stylish and compact design.

Internal Movement

Unlike most other ball machines, which change the duration of the ball by moving the whole machine from side to side, the Spinfire Pro 2 moves internally. This allows for faster re-direction and makes shots less predictable. Additionally, the internal parts are black to further disguise shot direction.

Random Modes

On both horizontal and vertical random modes, balls can be delivered through the full width of the singles court with depth variation. The Spinfire Pro 2 can be set to deliver the same trajectory over and over or a variety of random trajectories. 'Horizontal Random' can be set to deliver balls across a narrow, medium or wide area. 'Vertical Random' delivers short or long balls in a random order. Both 'Horizontal Random' and 'Vertical Random' can be combined for a very realistic playing pattern.

Automatic Variation

Speed, spin and/or interval can automatically adjust to play for a more varied training session.

Two-Line Drills

This feature delivers alternating forehands and backhands. It can be set to 'wide', 'medium' or 'narrow' to vary the degree of difficulty. The 'wide' setting makes you run from side to side, 'narrow' allows you to remain in the middle of the court, with 'medium' in between the two. You can also set the timing between each ball.

Extreme Topspin & Slice Capability

Using counter rotating wheels, the Spinfire Pro 2 operates very quietly and can generate maximum topspin and backspin, if desired.

Extreme Lob

Extreme lobs are uncommon in other ball machines on the market, however, with a 60° elevation, the Spinfire Pro 2 easily delivers realistic lobs for repetitive practice, ensuring they are a breeze on game day.

Smartphone App

Easily control the machine using the Spinfire App, available for iPhone and Android. Transform your training with unmatched customisation through the advanced AI-Powered Drill Creator. Design precise, personalised practice sessions effortlessly, utilising the app's full programmability, custom and quick drills, and Random Mode. Just input your desired parameters, and the AI-Powered Drill Creator will generate the drill for you, allowing you to fine-tune the settings or start your perfectly tailored training session right away. Compatible with machines purchased from 22nd July 2024 onwards only.

 

Remote Control Included

All functions can be controlled remotely, allowing the player to start or pause the machine, as well as change functions, anywhere on court.

Easy Portability

Lightweight and compact, the Spinfire Pro 2 fits in the boot of most cars. The white hopper can be reversed to neatly cover the machine. Robust wheels and an extendable handle allow you to pull or push the machine anywhere.

Lithium Upgrade

Consider the lithium [LiFePO4] battery for the lightest option, at half the weight. Lithium batteries are designed to be recharged thousands of times, many times more than a traditional standard battery. On a long-term basis, the lithium option is more economical, with a life-span of a few decades. Only the Fast Charger is available for selection with any lithium battery configuration.

Three Power Options

You can choose to have a built-in or external battery pack. Alternatively, plug directly into mains power - or any combination of the three. The external battery pack makes the machine much lighter, allowing you to leave the machine in the car and just bring the battery inside for charging. A fast charger is also available, reducing the charging time from 11 hours to 3-4 hours. If your court has easy access to a power point, you may prefer the direct mains option.

Which balls do you recommend?
Pressureless balls should ideally be used with any branded ball machine. Our best selling option is the Spinfire Touch. 

Can this machine additionally handle junior tennis balls?
Yes. Green, red and orange balls are also supported by this machine. Any junior balls should not be the oversized type.

What are the benefits to ordering an external battery model?
The machine is lighter and allows only the external battery pack to be brought to the power point. Customers usually select the external battery if they plan on storing or charging the battery in a different location to the machine.

Is the battery itself the same whether I opt for an internal or external battery?
Yes. There is no performance difference.

If I choose the internal battery option, can I replace the battery at a later point?
Yes. The process takes less than 30 minutes. Video instructions are available.

Can I order more than one power configuration?
Yes. This product listing only supports the selection of one of the three power configurations though [internal battery, external battery, mains AC]. To order a second power configuration, add the second product to your basket. For example, if you would like an external battery machine AND the AC Mains Power Supply, add both the external battery machine, plus the AC Mains Power Supply to the basket. Or, if you would like both the internal and external battery pack, order the internal battery machine, then add the External Standard Battery Pack or External Lithium Battery Pack to the basket.

Is a normal battery or lithium battery better?
The lithium battery is half the weight, has a 20% greater capacity and can be recharged many more times. The lithium is the most popular choice, however, it is slightly more expensive.

Is the machine different depending on which configuration I select?
No. The machine itself is always the same.

Therefore, could I order a second power configuration at a later stage?
Yes.

Can this machine also be used for padel?
Yes.

Can I use the standard battery charger with a lithium charger?
No. The chargers are different. This product listing will not allow you to add incompatible components to the basket.

Can I use the charger to operate the machine directly off mains power?
No. You can only use the AC Mains Power Supply accessory for operating the machine directly off mains power.

Can I use the Spinfire App with my iPhone or Android?

    So Easy to Use

    This ball machine is very plug and play. Good build quality and easy to use. The best advice is to place the machine at the end of the court in the centre, and just try the different settings as it's releasing the balls. Get used to the mixtures of speed/elevation, then switch on the drills to see the varied widths + depths. The fact the machine is 'discreet' in aiming left/right is really good, and it can hold a lot of balls to give you a lot of practice. The control panel is very straight forward to use and the included remote works so well to give flexibility. Love the luggage handle to pull along easily too. Thoroughly recommended!

    Arrived within 24 hours after ordering. This is perfect, as it was a high value product and always nice to get high value items fast. Came really well packed and thus arrived in perfect condition, straight from the box and after just a couple of hours charge (as per manual suggestion), we were on our court smashing balls all over the place. Roll on the weekend when more balls arrive and I can then get to really have some fun. Really easy to use and great run with all the options to play with. Remote works well also. Spot on, top service and product.

    So far, I'm over the moon with the Spinfire Pro 2 V2. The range of shots, oscillation and depth is first class and I'm really enjoying the fact that the oscillation is concealed internally. I'm upgrading to a lithium battery but so far after many three hour sessions, I haven't seen the battery indicator drop below the full four bars battery level. The remote is invaluable in terms of convenience for changing settings mid session, as well as pausing and tweaking the settings. The build quality is great - the wheels are large and solid with a through axle. The machine happily gets moved over a playing field in the dryer months to my local courts and in the winter, I wheel it a few hundred meters from my car to the local indoor courts. I can't fault the machine in any way and the service I have received from Racquet Depot UK has also been first class. They are really knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Great ball machine & great service!

    Game Changer!

    I have been really impressed with this machine. The machine can generate an excellent range of ball speeds, types and intensity of spin, with a variety of shot types in terms of depth and oscillation. There are also a great variety of options and settings which can all be adjusted from the remote control. This has proved a great time saver compared to other ball machines I have used which only have a few limited controls on the remote such as start/stop. The direction of ball travel is concealed as the rotation happens internally within the machine rather than whole machine moving from side to side. This more accurately recreates a game situation, as you are less able to foresee the direction of the ball. I have found the machine easy to transport and store. The hopper collapses over the top and It has a suitcase style handle which pulls out underneath, making it easy to wheel around and place in the boot of the car. Overall, a fantastic product. I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a ball machine to consider the Spinfire before making their decision.

    Superb Option

    We absolutely love our Spinfire ball machine. The internal oscillation means you can't anticipate where the ball will land on the court. There are a tremendous number of settings, leading to a great variety of shots and drills, making game play so realistic. You can have it on different settings, so my younger son, who is only 9, can play with it realistically but it also keeps my teenage son very much on his toes and he plays at county level. The remote is ideal, as it allows all of the machine settings to be in the palm of your hand. The remote works anywhere on the court. The benefit is that you don't have to keep going back to the machine. Definitely better having a handheld remote, rather than an app, as it's much lighter than a phone and costs less if you dropped it. The Spinfire Pro was delivered quickly and there was a one hour delivery time-slot texted to me on the morning of delivery.

    I was recommended by a friend who has had a Spinfire since last summer. The customer service was quick when I was asking about which balls to go for (I was recommended Babolat Gold Academy). All credit to Racquet Depot UK for promoting the best option and not the most expensive option. After looking at various ball machines, this has surprised me with the value for money considering other machines which stretch up to double the price. The Spinfire Pro 2 arrived perfectly packaged. My wife and son have now taken up tennis again as a result of our new machine. A serious game changer in my opinion.
